My creation process consists of superimposing different images using algorithms close to the AI that create a recomposition strategy as human memory could do.
Human memory does not operate like a camera, it distorts, confuses, agglomerates, mixes and deforms. It is for me to go beyond the automations of the AI to find a new vision through a process of emergence. This consists in observing how photographic shooting, image fusion algorithms bring back to art.
With this generative work Jr present a critical commentary on the promise of technologie.
Create in 1997, the work consist of a grid each square of which can be coloured
black o white. The icon begins with of white square until all the squares and progressed by combination of black
and white until all the square are black.
In this figure where a person emerges with a gas mask or anti radiation one does not know too much. Nor in what war it can be. In any case, it is the mark of a war of the twentieth or twenty-first century. One can notice a tangle of threads that are a metaphor for digital.
Digital also kills. It creates NFT but is also widely used in the information war.
